Our team of Practice Nurses provide a wide range of services including: dressings, smear tests, travel advice, immunisations, blood tests, ear syringing, suture removal, all types of injections and spirometry. We also run asthma and diabetes clinics.
We has two Healthcare Assistant, Amia & Eva. They both have a wealth of experience and can take routine blood tests for chronic disease management, perform ECG’s, hypertension reviews, simple wound dressings, carers health checks and NHS health checks.
If you have any questions about administration or non-medical aspects of your health care, please speak to a member of the management team.
We have three part-time receptionists who can help arrange appointments and inform you about the services and clinics we offer.
Our midwife is at the surgery every Wednesday afternoon for the antenatal clinic.
The District Nurses attached to the Surgery are in close daily contact and confer regularly with the Doctors. They visit, treat and advise patients who are housebound on general care and referral to other agencies.
The District nurse is available to see you at home and can help you with the following:
NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy services
NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy services
